This annoys me, mostly because of all of the work I put into it. Unfortunately, I had to close the account because of multiple copyright claims against my account by Disney, Warner Bros., ect. So, the spot of DH music is right here!

SERIES FINALE

Hey Everybody!

It's over. I can't believe it. The epic finale of an epic show was an incredible end, and I still can't wrap my head around the end. Without further ado, I present to you, the Complete Score of the Series Finale of Desperate Housewives!!

8.22/23 - Give Me The Blame/Finishing The Hat - Complete Scores

I LOVED the ending. The music was beautiful, and I can't stop playing it in my head. As for the story, I loved the character's endings. Just...perfect. As I could have done without the cliffhanger, I understand why they put it in.

It's been a pleasure running this blog for all of you, and thanks to all who have commented and given me advice. This has been a long process, but what a great feeling it is to know that it's complete. Now, I must thank Marc Cherry, Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria, Marcia Cross, Felicity Huffman, and the entire cast and crew of Desperate Housewives for 8 amazing years, and Steve Jablonsky for a truly epic, hilarious, heartfelt, and unforgettable score.

The People Will Hear

Well, the last regular episode before the series finale...happened. With a bunch of incredible pieces from this new episode, here's the complete score to last night's new episode!

As for the ending music of the finale, I just hope it isn't the ending of Season 2 and 3 music (too overused), or the same music as the ending of the Pilot with the Desperate Housewives theme rendition. Although I would prefer a new, epic piece to end the show, the one ending music that I wouldn't mind being reused is the ending of episode 5.12. What are your thoughts?

MY THOUGHTS - Beautiful episode, brought me to tears during Susan's goodbye, and Vanessa Williams is a FANTASTIC singer! Her rendition of "Amazing Grace" was so beautiful, I had to include it.

NOTES - In some tracks, an echo of the voices can be heard because they were taking place in the church. Unfortunately, since the echoing was a Post-Production effect they added to the audio, I can't remove it :( I also have along with "Amazing Grace", "Amazing Strings" which is basically "Amazing Grace", but with a little more emphasis on the strings that Jablonsky added.

My thoughts - some great pieces in this one! Possible the best in the season! Mike & Susan's last scene together...tore me to shreds, and once you hear the music for it...it's one of the most beautiful pieces in the series.

MY THOUGHTS - I LOVED the episode! The part with Julie and the knife was freaking hilarious, and Orson's bad-ass tazer entrance was incredible, followed by the most intense line ever, "I also have pepper spray!" About the music, I love how it is, and for the ending narrations I think Jablonsky might be doing a "best of" sort of thing, which I don't mind :)
